ASOFER, founded in 2011, has been working since then to promote and develop the renewable energy sector in the Dominican Republic, encouraging its use and supporting the various sectors involved, including producers, generators, manufacturers and self-generators.
"ASOFER is strengthened by the active participation of its members, and we are proud that every day more local and foreign companies join this national effort to move in a single direction: to achieve the desired Dominican energy transition, based on a model of sustainability and low greenhouse gas emissions," added Marvin Fernández, the association’s president.
